

As you’ll see in this lesson, you can change the properties of each of these materials, so these are a good starting point for generating a wide variety of surface materials. Note that the materials are grouped by type, with Adobe Standard Materials at the top of the list and Substance Materials at the bottom. Scroll through the panel and note the many different types of starter materials available.
